I was skimming through the Bible one day, not really looking for anything specific, but just searching. I then stumbled upon Romans 12. I really love the book and that chapter...a lot. Anyway! As I read the words, "Living Sacrifice," & "Gifts of Grace," & "Marks of the True Christian." I got thinking. I was then inspired and challenged. Inspired to bring about living for Christ in a different area, the challenge was to use the media. The name was inspired by Romans 12:2, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." I started praying. I have to admit, I am not one to be self motivated, and starting something like this is a big step on my part! Well I asked some close woman to pray for me. I couldn't do it alone! I'm so thankful for the older women in my life who were willing! After talking to my folks and others, I was able to go forward and start this "ministry." What is Project Transformed to be used for? It's to encourage and equip those who are living for Christ, to {BE} a living sacrifice. Project Transformed gives people the opportunity to share their testimonies or story about how Christ has, and is transforming them. Project Transformed gives Christian brothers and sisters a way to proclaim Christ by sharing in the gifts God has blessed them with. People can submit writings, music videos, even through YouTube, and get excited about the ways God is using them. Also, daily blogs, aimed to give encouragement and hope and inspiration, will be posted. Guest bloggers will be invited to share ways they were transformed, or how to live a transformed life. The goal is to be a light.
May Project Transformed be a marker to help transform this world through media for our King!
